What can I build with this endpoint?

A results page, an awards-ceremony script, or a feed to your timing partner — the official podiums per category, joined to registrations by participantId. Poll until publication is non-null, then render; re-read when a new version appears.

What is segmentId for?

It's the stable key for one award category — overall, sex:female, sex:female~age:40-44, special:visually-impaired — shared by the awards config and the published results, so you can read what a segment awards, then filter results to that same segment.

Official results

Published podiums for one run of an event — the official, versioned results the organizer signed off on. Results are derived facts and only ever official here: until the organizer publishes, `publication` is null and `segments` is empty. Filter to one segment, or read an earlier version.

Event run ID. Optional when the event has a single run; required otherwise (422).

segmentstring

Narrow to one segment id — `overall`, `sex:female`, `sex:female~age:40-44`, `special:visually-impaired`. Ids are listed by GET /events/{id}/awards.

A specific publication version. Defaults to the current one; superseded versions stay readable.
